Background
Trained as a sculptor at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and as a fine jewellery designer at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, fine jeweller Bibi van der Velden combines the natural world with a romantic edge to create unique, eye-catching pieces with a fantasy-like aesthetic.
Bibi van de Velden’s jewellery-making is grounded in traditional craftsmanship and Bibi has always ensured sustainability & transparency throughout the brand’s history, and luxury supply chain.
We are looking for a Social Media & Marketing Intern. Someone who is creative, organised, action-oriented, has an eye for detail, is eager to learn and enjoys being part of a successful, international team.
Roles and Responsibilities
> Support the creation of visual assets for social media, newsletters, campaigns, and the website
> Assist with layout design, photo editing, reels, and simple animations
> Help design marketing materials such as lookbooks, invites, event decks, packaging concepts, and in-store visuals
> Contribute to brainstorming sessions for campaigns, product launches, and creative storytelling
> Assist in organizing and preparing content for shoots (moodboards, references, shot lists)
> Support general marketing tasks including social media posting, scheduling, competitor research, and trend spotting
> Ensure all assets follow the brand’s visual guidelines and maintain a refined, luxury aesthetic
> Support video-related tasks such as filming, editing, and preparing short-form content when needed
Profile
> Currently studying or recently graduated in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field
> Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
> A strong sense of aesthetics aligned with luxury and high-end branding
> Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest)
> Creative thinker with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
> Interest in luxury, fashion, or jewelry is a strong plus
> Video editing or videography skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
> Available to work at least 4 days a week, full-time
