For Bibi, Rosewood Amsterdam is a natural home, just steps from her atelier and flagship store, where her world of jewellery and storytelling comes to life in a setting that celebrates the city’s creative spirit.

Launching this December, the Bibi Jewellery Cart will make its debut at Rosewood Amsterdam. More than a display, it is a mobile art piece, an immersive and intimate way for guests to encounter Bibi’s creations throughout the property. From private appointments inside the most exclusive Houses to curated encounters in the property’s inspiring spaces, the cart will invite guests to explore, try on and connect with jewellery in ways that are playful, personal and unexpected.

As Rosewood Amsterdam’s Artist Tree commission for 2025, Bibi van der Velden reimagines the traditional Christmas tree as a sculptural installation rooted in materiality and reflection.

Created in partnership with natural stone brand SolidNature, the piece is constructed entirely from stacked blocks of marble, travertine, onyx, and alabaster - each cut, placed, and composed in shades of green, red, gold, and warm neutrals.

At once grounded and poetic, the tree sits in quiet dialogue with Confronting Time, Bibi’s mirrored sculpture made with her mother, artist Michèle Deiters, positioned opposite in the Rosewood lobby. Together, the works invite a moment of stillness in the midst of the season.
