To debut the sculpture, Bibi has collaborated with perfumer Lyn Harris of Perfumer H, to create a scented candle that is placed within the vessel.
The scent of the Stone Dust candle takes inspiration from Bibi’s home in Portugal, evoking what Bibi describes as “the smell of burnt wood from forest fires; the scent of stones when working in my atelier; of pencil shavings when sketching, but also the flowers and fruits I see in my garden.”
The fragrance is created in collaboration with British perfumer Lyn Harris, known for creating “beautiful fragrances that resonate life.”
Bibi unveils a unique scent that reflects her personal sense of home fragrance and offers a glimpse into Bibi’s world. After the candle has burned, the vessel acts as a striking art object.
“The sculpture holds a scented candle and once finished, can be repurposed as a vase. Candles bring people together. The scent fills the room with a warm, inviting winter feel, perfect for the upcoming months.”

A NEW EXPRESSION OF SMOKE
sculpting in glass
Bibi has collaborated with Murano glass artist Aristide Najean to create a vessel that captures smoke’s elegant twists and turns, composed of both opaque and transparent glass.
Its tactile, uneven surface echoes just how plumes of smoke move and evolve, with a three-dimensional line of smoke that winds around its outer surface, while opaque wisps of smoke appear to swirl inside the sculpture.
Bibi notes that following the Smoke collection’s debut in 2021, she was inspired to experiment to interpret smoke via century-old glassmaking techniques, together with craftsmen in Murano, Venice.
